Jerick McKinnon of the Kansas City Chiefs has been placed on injured reserve (IR) due to a groin injury. With McKinnon out for the rest of the regular season, Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire are expected to lead the Chiefs' backfield, with La'Mical Perine as a reserve. It is unclear if McKinnon will be able to rejoin the team for the playoffs.
