Damar Hamlin, a safety for the Buffalo Bills, has started a scholarship program called Damar Hamlin's Cincinnati Heroes Scholarship to honor the individuals who helped save his life when he suffered cardiac arrest during a game in Cincinnati. The program will award scholarships to underserved high school and college-bound students in the Greater Cincinnati area. The scholarships will be named after the 10 individuals who were involved in Hamlin's care, and each scholarship will be for $1,000. The first round of scholarships is planned to be awarded in 2024.
