A woman who claims to be the daughter of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has refiled a defamation lawsuit against Jones and two associates. The woman, Alexandra Davis, alleges that they conspired to portray her as an 'extortionist.' A federal judge had previously dismissed much of Davis' defamation lawsuit, stating that some of the alleged defamatory statements were either true or not defamatory. However, the judge allowed Davis' lawyers to refile their complaint regarding comments made in an ESPN story. The new complaint alleges that the defendants worked closely with ESPN reporter Don Van Natta Jr. and other media outlets to spread false statements about Davis.
