The Las Vegas Raiders have decided to bench veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and start rookie Aidan O'Connell at QB. This decision comes after the firing of head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler. Interim coach Antonio Pierce announced the change and also mentioned the promotion of quarterbacks coach Bo Hardegree to offensive coordinator and playcaller.
