Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams is progressing through a thumb sprain. Coach Sean McVay said that Stafford is making good progress in gripping a football, but he was unable to play in Week 9. Stafford has not practiced since suffering the sprained UCL in his right thumb. The Rams have a Week 10 bye, so Stafford will have two more weeks to rest before the team's next game on November 19th against the Seahawks. In Week 9, Brett Rypien filled in for Stafford and had a mediocre performance.
