Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy will undergo surgery for appendicitis but expects to coach the upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles. McCarthy experienced abdominal pain and will be released from the hospital later on Wednesday. In his absence, coordinators Dan Quinn, Brian Schottenheimer, and John Fassel will run practice.
