The New Orleans Saints have placed wide receiver Michael Thomas on injured reserve due to a knee injury. Thomas sustained the injury during the first drive of the Saints' Week 10 game against the Minnesota Vikings and will be sidelined for at least the next four games. Before the bye week, coach Dennis Allen described Thomas' injury as 'fairly significant.' In a corresponding move, the Saints signed defensive back Cameron Dantzler Sr. to the active roster and added wide receiver Marquez Callaway to the practice squad. Thomas has recorded 39 receptions for 448 yards and a touchdown this season.
