The New York Jets are releasing veteran backup safety Adrian Amos. Amos, who was primarily a backup for the Jets, played in 248 snaps on defense. The Jets made the move to create playing time for younger backups Ashtyn Davis and rookie Jarrick Bernard-Converse.
