The New England Patriots have traded for cornerback J.C. Jackson from the Los Angeles Chargers. Jackson, who signed a big contract with the Chargers last offseason, was inactive in Week 3 and didn't play a snap in Week 4. The Patriots made the trade after rookie cornerback Christian Gonzalez suffered a shoulder injury and is out indefinitely.
