Aaron Rodgers, quarterback for the New York Jets, returned to limited practice on Friday after dealing with an Achilles injury. He is following a rehab schedule that includes alternating practices and days off. Rodgers had his 21-day window to return from IR opened on Wednesday, but it is unlikely that he will be activated until the end of that window. He plans to increase his practice regimen next week in hopes of expediting his return timeline. However, Rodgers stated that it would not make much sense to play in a game with no playoff implications, so the Jets would need to string together some wins and remain in the playoff hunt for him to have a chance at playing again in 2023.
