Dolphins running back De'Von Achane has returned to practice as his 21-day activation window to return from injured reserve has opened. Achane had a strong start to the season, rushing for 460 yards and scoring seven total touchdowns in four games. The Dolphins' rushing production has dropped off without Achane in the lineup, failing to break 100 rushing yards in two of the four games he's missed. Coach Mike McDaniel stated that Achane's injury was a strain-type injury and the team erred on the side of caution to ensure he was fully recovered. Veteran Raheem Mostert has taken on the majority of the workload in Achane's absence and has performed well, rushing for 291 yards and five total touchdowns in the past four games.
