Former Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif has announced his retirement from the NFL. Duvernay-Tardif, who is also a doctor, left football in 2020 to work in medicine during the COVID-19 pandemic. He played for the Chiefs from 2015-2019 and won a Super Bowl title with the team in 2019. He returned to football in 2021 and was traded to the New York Jets in November of that year.
