The Minnesota Vikings will continue to start quarterback Josh Dobbs for at least one more week, despite his six turnovers in the last two games. Offensive coordinator Wes Phillips mentioned that the coaching staff used the bye week to closely evaluate Dobbs' performance and make adjustments to the offensive scheme to better suit his skills. The Vikings' offense was originally built around pocket passer Kirk Cousins, but Dobbs will now have the opportunity to lead the team against the Las Vegas Raiders.
