Veteran wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. has announced that he is stepping away from the Detroit Lions to take care of personal family matters. Jones was inactive for the Lions' recent game against the Baltimore Ravens for personal reasons. In a post on Instagram, Jones expressed his love and respect for the team and the city of Detroit, but stated that he cannot be the player he needs to be while tending to his family from afar. Jones, 33, has recorded five catches for 35 yards in six games this season.
