Longtime special teams coach Danny Smith tore his right rotator cuff in three places during the Pittsburgh Steelers' win against the Green Bay Packers. Smith, who has been with the Steelers since 2013, will need surgery to repair the injury. The injury occurred when Steelers safety Damontae Kazee collided with Smith after his game-sealing interception, and Smith was sent flying onto his right shoulder. Despite the injury, Smith did not lose the piece of gum he was chewing at the time.
