Emari Demercado, running back for the Arizona Cardinals, did not participate in Wednesday's practice due to a toe injury. Demercado has been filling in for James Conner, who is on injured reserve, and has recorded 171 yards from scrimmage over the last three games. However, in the previous game against the Ravens, Demercado shared reps with Keaontay Ingram, who played all 29 offensive snaps in the second half. With Conner still out and Damien Williams on the practice squad injured list, Demercado's status for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns is uncertain. If he is unable to play, Ingram is expected to have an expanded role, while Corey Clement, Tony Jones, and Hassan Hall could be elevated from the practice squad.
