Former NFL cornerback D.J. Hayden, along with two of his former University of Houston teammates, Zach McMillian and Ralph Oragwu, were among six people killed in a car accident in Houston. The accident occurred when a car ran a red light and collided with another vehicle. Hayden, who was 33 years old, had a notable career in the NFL, playing for the Oakland Raiders, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Washington Commanders. He recorded 328 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four interceptions, and four forced fumbles in his career.
