Alexander Mattison, running back for the Minnesota Vikings, did not participate in practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury. Mattison sprained his right ankle during Week 14 and has been unable to practice since. It is unclear how severe the injury is, but he missed the Vikings' last game and his status for Sunday's game against the Lions is uncertain. Coach Kevin O'Connell suggested that Ty Chandler will likely be the main running back for the team in that contest.
