According to a source, Jets QB Aaron Rodgers is unlikely to play again this season due to his Achilles injury. Rodgers returned to practice this week but was expected to only play if the Jets were still in playoff contention. With a record of 4-7, the Jets would need to win all their remaining games to have a chance at the postseason. As a result, Tim Boyle, Zach Wilson, or Trevor Siemian will likely be the starting quarterback for the rest of the season. Rodgers is expected to return in 2024 to support WR Garrett Wilson and RB Breece Hall.
