Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields will not practice on Wednesday due to a thumb injury. Coach Matt Eberflus has no updates on Fields' health and he remains doubtful for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Fields' availability will depend on his grip strength. If he is unable to start, the Bears will have to choose between undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent or veteran Nathan Peterman as their starting quarterback.
