Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell stated that running back Cam Akers is unlikely to play against the Chargers on Sunday. However, Akers is expected to be ready for Week 4. In the meantime, Alexander Mattison will continue to serve as the Vikings' feature back.
