Carlos Watkins, defensive tackle for the Arizona Cardinals, will need surgery for a biceps injury suffered during Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Watkins is expected to miss a significant amount of time. L.J. Collier, another defensive lineman for the Cardinals, had surgery on the bicep he injured in Week 1 and it is uncertain if he will return from his injury. With two defensive linemen out, coach Jonathan Gannon is looking at other players, including Leki Fotu, to step up in larger roles.
