The Seahawks acquired Williams on Monday in exchange for draft picks. Williams is in the final year of his current contract and is scheduled to become a free agent after this season. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll praised Williams as a fantastic football player who can make a difference in games. Williams has 1.5 sacks this season and 39.5 in his career.
